The US Government have been in Afghanistan since 2002/2003. After 911 The US Government was supposed to go there to assess, maintain the peace and leave. They end up staying in Afghanistan for over 15 years and spending over a Trillion dollars. They used money to trained the military and build infrastructure in Afghanistan. We have lost thousands of lives and wasted money. We could have used this money in the United States of America instead. The US Government needs to stop policing the world
