A poem by Martin Lim What I really long for, Is to find that long lost distant shore. To be alone in my private thoughts, Distant voices echoing through the wind’ When will they stop , When will they rescind, Persistant,thought resistant , Shaming to the core. What I desire Like purifying fire, Is to make God’s word the truth and the Devil liar, To make the right choices, Instead of treading on thin wire, Separate the wheat from the briar, Let him be the squire.
