Transcanada Music West

This week on TransCanada Music West, host Grant Stovel welcomes Alberta jazz outfit Hutchinson Andrew Trio to CKUA’s performance space. The acoustic piano trio features bassist Kodi Hutchinson, pianist Chris Andrew, and drummer Karl Schwonik. They’ve been a staple of the Alberta jazz scene for over a decade, and as of late, have been touring on the strength of their 2013 album Prairie Modern. This week on the show, they give us a live preview of music from their forthcoming fall 2015 release.
