Jamil’s first connection to the Foundation was as a participant in spinal cord injury research studies. That experience motivated him to pursue a career at the Foundation. Jamil achieved his goal and recently celebrated his one-year work anniversary as a research assistant. He is a ‘people person’ who enjoys sharing his experiences as a person with a disability and motivating others to improve the lives of people with spinal cord injury by volunteering to participate in our research studies.
