In 2015, Utah legislators passed legislation that prohibits discrimination based on sexual orientation – while also protecting individual religious beliefs and religious institutions. Now working to expand business opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community is Liz Pitts with the Utah LGBTQ+ Chamber. LIZ PITTS The Utah LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2012. We are a diversity Chamber which provides service throughout Utah. Our business owners seek to promote and grow their businesses in an inclusive group of like-minded people. Membership allows the opportunity to become certified as an LGBT Business Enterprise, if your firm is more than 51% LGBT owned and operated, the fees are waived for your certification.
