Romans 8:28 (NIV) And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Let that sink in… God works all things for the good of us who love him…. Do you remember Joseph? He was sold into slavery by his brothers, falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife and thrown into prison and forgotten by the world. Altogether Joseph spent a total of thirteen years as a slave and prisoner. Things appeared to be a mess for Joseph, but God was putting him through training so he could one day save many lives. When Joseph was thirty the Pharaoh had a dream and summoned Joseph to interpret it. Through the power of God, Joseph revealed with the dream meant and warned Pharaoh of the coming famine. From this Pharaoh put him in charge of all Egypt and Joseph not only saved his life but the life of his family, and all of Egypt. God turned what seemed to be a mess into a message of hope.
