Romans 11: 18 …remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. 1st John 4:19 We love because he first loved us. His love is the root. He also quoted Jesus in John 3:16 For God so loved the world... that came first. Here’s another (very insightful). 1 John 4:10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
