Chihayafuru is a high school, sports series centering on Chihaya Ayase, who is inspired by her new friends to play the Japanese card game known as karuta, and from then on becomes obsessed with it to the point of forming a team in high school to seriously compete in tournaments all across nation to become the best in Japan!
