Synopsis
Just as they are about to depart from London for a dazzling holiday in Montecarlo, Inspector Holt and his valet Sunny are abruptly summoned by Scotland Yard to investigate a string of sudden, bizarre instances of untimely death that had been met by numerous wealthy men in recent days. With hardly anything to go on besides an eery similarity in the life insurance policies taken on the names of the deceased, a baffled Holt attempts to draw out a link between these suspicious deaths.
