Synopsis
Beau Brocade is a historical novel set in England during the reign of King George II that centers around the title character who is similar to Robin Hood.
The novel centres on the eponymous Beau Brocade, who is a former member of the Royal Dragoons and has been dismissed from his position due to a dispute with a superior. He becomes a masked highwayman, who steals from the rich to give to the poor, and is considered a loyal, brave and charming man by those he encounters. He is needed to assist Phillip Gascoyne (an Earl in immediate danger after he was falsely accused of being a traitor to the King) who desires to make contact with his sister.
