Synopsis

Comedian and actor Jay Mohr’s humorous memoir about the lunacy that ensues after reaching the blessed stage of parenthood.

Waxing poetic about circumcision and the benefits of the carpool lane, Mohr spins theories on spanking and ponders questions like “why do kids all wake up so damn early? It’s as if they are all preparing for life as longshoremen.” He goes on to describe the bizarre kinds of situations that all parents must face but can never be prepared for (when, for instance, his kid discovered his dog’s rear end) as well as moments of pure joy like taking his son to his first baseball game. An unorthodox tale of modern fatherhood in Hollywood, Mohr’s take on parenting is ultimately as charming as it is irreverent.
