These last couple of weeks have left me reeling if I'm totally honest. I feel like I just woke up after a lifelong slumber afforded to me thanks to my white privilege, and that my ignorance around #blacklivesmatter and anti-racism is unforgivable.I feel things deeply and I am especially saddened that my actions, or lack of, deeply hurt and offend people, which they did by me not using my platform appropriately at all, in the last few weeks, but realistically the entire time I've had one.So I'm doing what I know I can do well right now, being a student of life, being open to learning and educating myself on how having white privilege, white exceptionalism, white apathy, white fragility to name a few, has benefited me greatly in my life.This work is beyond necessary, especially as an entrepreneur, a coach and one with a platform and a voice to be able to create real change in this world.
