SEASON 1: SCANDINAVIAN LEADERSHIP AND IDEAS EPISODE 1 – Morten AlbækWe have named our first season Scandinavian leadership and ideas. In America there is a buzz about Scandinavian leadership. But what is Scandinavian leadership? At BI Norwegian Business School, they state that the Scandinavian leadership model to be the following on their webpage:"At first you might find Scandinavians both arrogant and cold. It can be difficult to see how the same people can be among the happiest and most productive employees in the world. But don't judge a book by its cover. Norwegian leadership is characterized by a flat organizational structure, employees who enjoy a high degree of influence, and a healthy balance between work life and private life" This may in part be true but in certain aspects we could not disagree more. In our first episode we will share the idea that there is not a healthy balance between work and private life. First and foremost, it’s about a balance in life, where work life is not separated from one
