The “Hartford Circus Fire,” also known as ″The Day the Clowns Cried,″ occurred on July 6, 1944, in Hartford, Connecticut. Maura Murray, a 21-year-old student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, disappeared on February 9th, 2004, after crashing her car on Route 112 in Haverhill, NH. To this day, no one knows why Maura was in NH or what happened to her in the few minutes between the car crash and the arrival of police. He was never seen alive again. In what was known as "The Spilled Milk Murder," by the press of the late 1950's, Orville Gibson’s disappearance remains a mystery to this day that made global headlines. Now, more than over half a century later, there are still questions about that day. Smith bludgeoned Gonzalez to death with an ax and later consumed several parts of the victim’s body parts.
