Moonbase 2 Podcast

It seems the sinister merchant from Resident Evil 4 is at it again this week as more leaked reveals were found this week, from reviews on the Kingdom Blackarachnia, Cheetor and Warpath and images of what might be the lines next Titan Class thing the Ark. Do these reveals get the lads a bit more excited for Transformers after all this time? Also Generations Select show off 4 up and coming things and Japan has a teaser poster for their next release (which was shown the next day of course). Plus the stuff the lads did in the week of course, so as ever we hope you enjoy. (audio fixed in a clunky way at the end)

Mr Mikey brings on the original lad himself Mr Dave Wallace to talk IDW Transformer comics  and talk about how it changed from over the years and maybe what drew in new fans and what pushed away some other fans as well.

This month the Mikey and the Andy talk about Transformers issue 21# and both Transformer Galaxies issue 7# and 8# will they be good or will they be poo? join the lads and find out.

Woah woah woooooah there's actually have some news this week on Moonbase 2 with the dreaded leaks of Transformers Kingdoms figures from a full video review of a tiny Ratrap and dodge picks of Warpath, Cheetor and Blackarachnia. Plus Magic Square are doing a very nedorid styled Arcee and 3 figures made for the Netflix's sub-sub-line where shown as well, oh and of course a few other stories and what the lads did in the week.

Andy and Mikey return once again to talk about the new Generations Select conehead repaint of Sandstorm, no not the one you're thinking about its a G2 repaint for one of the conehead lads, there's also a butt load of Walmart listing for Kingdom to talk about and MMC  show off a new Optimus Prime figure in the sorta Stormbringer style. Also Andy gets the itch for GI Joe Classified figures and finds out they are a pain in the ass to order online and Mikey talks more Gundam and other stuff as well.

Very quiet on the news front in the realm of Transformers this month as there are only 5 stories, 3 releases from Dr Wu and 2 Generations Select figures have been revealed. But of course Andy and Mikey have done a few things this week to hopefully make some interesting chatter between the two of them.

Back to the usual schedule this week after the release of War for Cybertron: Siege, Andy and Mikey get to talk about FansHobby Ace Hitter (aka Go-Shooter), X-Transbots have Dr Egg (MP scaled Quintisson) and ThreeZero's Siege Megatron. Plus a few other stories, Andy's brief thoughts of the Netflix show and what the lads did in the week.

We are light on news this week for Moonbase 2 but there was a new show that came out, well only 6 episodes but hey that's enough to make an episode out of. So for this week Mikey, joinned by Chris "the sensual" Vangelus and the "Big Bossman" Jeremy, talk about Neflix War for Cybertron: Siege.

So SDCC sorta happened this week......umm...but nothing Transformers wise was really talked about, ok a few very small bits but nothing major, however Flametoys swoops in to save the news with a good chonky lump to talk about. Plus the usual what the lads did this week, like did Mikey Finish Turn A Gundam yet?............no....no he didnt.

Sliding in before the finish line of the month comics sneak out for Mikey and Andy to finally chat about, so Transformers issue #20 is out and has the pacing finally picked up for the series?

This week Hasbro shows off a lot of the exclusives coming out of the earthrise line from 2 packs of remolded Prowl and Ironhide to the netflix remolds like the Elita-One from the Arcee mold. There's also news that the Cyberverse deluxe line will continue as Satrscream, Soundwave and Prowl (really prowl?....huh...ok) were announced, as well as a few more stories here and there and the "what we did" section of the show.

Another week and another set of Transformers news for Andy and Mikey to munch into, the horror of the Funko Pop's rears its nasty head once again from the ashes of joy and Mecha Fans Toys have prototype images of their Blitzwing figure called Thunderbolt. Not a huge amount of stories but we have a few at least and the lads have a little chat about the vtuber craze that's kicked up over the last month or so.

Andy and Mikey get to chat about a new cross over Transformer coming out being Gigawatt, which is of course and exclusive Back to The Future car but.............scalpers have scooped a massive haul of them up, whoops. Plus a few other very small bits of news, which is the style at the moment, then of course what tu lads did over the week, Andy being tired after doing a huge amount of podcasts and editing over the past week.

Generations select, this week, shows off some new up and coming figures including Greece Pit, Tigertracks and Rotorstorm to name a few, we also have prices and release dates for them. Also there are a few other Transformer stories for the week one of them being Transform Dream Wave have a upgrade kit for the Generations Select Seacons and there are a few other things that popped up as well. Plus what Andy and Mikey did during the week.

Well......there isnt much in the way of comic from last month, although there is something later this month, so this show should tidy us over till something comes out. Mikey an Andy take a look at the manga Mazinger Vs Transformers. 

Welcome to the Moonbase 2 podcast for this week, Andy and Mikey are back to talk about dem sexy thigh fillers and arm fillers from 115 Utopia, there's new images of the Lemon Tree Soundwave and Yoloparks high end Bee movie Prime figure, plus a few other stories. Oh and of course what the lads did in the week with the end of Hamefura coming to an end

Andy and Mikey are back to cover the interesting thing that went down over the last 2 weeks for Transformers since they skipped out on last weeks news cycle. So on the show Mech Fans Toys have 2 legend scale figures, a repaint of their Astrotrain into the Japanese toy colours an proto images of Octane. Also Zeta Toys have a few things to show a new TF game base on Cyberverse is coming and Earthrise Fasttrack will have a spear mode. Plus what the lads got up to for fun during the week.

Since there wasn't much news this week young, powerful Mikey takes the rudder of the Moonbase 2 ship and grabs the Canadian Destroyer Chris "Vangelus" to have a good hard chat about Cyberverse. Hope you guys all enjoy!

On the Moonbase 2 this week we have more guests announced for the TFNation live stream event, the ultimetal Megatron gets new images and the boi's remember the figure was announced int 2014.....woof. Also what have the lads done this week in the warm time of the year in the uk? have he lads just melted away?!?!?

A small wave of 3rd party transformer stuff his the sandy beaches of Moonbase 2 this with more new add-on kits from Shockwave labs, DNA Designs craft a new Matrix Buster for Big Convoy and Fans Hobby a super early prototype to follow on from their Armada Prime and it will be Armada Megatron. Plus a few other stories  and what the lads did in the week so strap in peeps!
