Moonbase 2 Podcast

The boi's are back in town and Mikey and Andy get to scrap the bottom of the barrel of Transformers news once again and gabbing about their thoughts on it. So what's on the card today? well clothing deals with Puma and and transformers flight jacket, more importantly we have images and price for the Big Powered Takara set. Plus whats been going down in the lads week so we hope you enjoy again.

Well this was a longer episode then anticipated but that's because Andy and Mikey had to cover the reveals from NYCC, lots of new toys to talk about as the Decepticons from Siege have been shown. But of course that's not all as we have a Halloween costume and X-Transbots show of a few new things as well one of which is Autobot-X. As ever there talk on anime and other dumb stuff the lads did in the week we hope you enjoy.

OH NO!!!! technical issues make the quality of the show suffer a little this week but Andy and Mikey push through the pain and we hope you can as well since there is a full new Bumblebee trailer to talk about which had the net outside the fandom ablaze with joy. Also Transformer wise we saw prototype and colour images of MMC Dezarus R-42 D-Zef and new that the Japanese Legends line isnt dead as images of Dai Atlus and his two buddies surfaced. Plus more fun talk as ever so we hope you enjoy the show!

On the Moonbase 2 show this week Andy and Mikey talk about the preview trailers for the trailer of Bumblebee which is out now (came out Monday show recorded on the Sunday) and it shows some interesting things to talk about. There's also rumors for 2019 of the other G1 Dino cassette combiner come AND another MP-10 Convoy do into "The Real Ghostbusters" deco, whatever that means. Of course the usual fun times with Mikey and Andy and the week. Hope you enjoy the show!

Mikey cracks on with the 2nd part of delving back into the murky past of IDW as he hits into the All Hail Megatron era of the series an all the ups and down that came along with it. NERF THIS!!!!!!! or something this week as Mikey and Andy come back to chat about the news for Transformers once again and Nerf has a gun that shoots foam cars in the style of Bumblebee, its what we were all waiting for! In studio series news you can put together a muscle car version of Bumblebee in the Studio Series SS-15 Bumblebee & Charlie set and it doesnt look too bad really....well...it has stickers so....yea. Plus what the lads did this week so we hope you all enjoy this weeks ep.

It is a dry week for news but Andy and Mikey do there best to make it a fun show but with stuff like Transformers Putty and Halloween Bumblebee Movie props do they do a good job? They of course talk about the bits they were up to this week as well so strap in for the waffle!

Join Andy and Mikey this week as for news its once again fairly light but with stories such as Toyworld show off there version of Bulldog (the old school tank from the last movie), Studio series also showed off some stuff one of which was WWII Bumblebee and there's a dancing Bee figure which.....is a thing. Mikey and Andy also saw the first two 15 min episodes for the new Cyberverse series and talk about what they thought of these 2 preview episodes. Also things they did this week as well as you would suspect.

This month isnt as mad as last month, with only the standard comics to talk about so Mikey and Andy sit down and chat about Lost Light issue 22#, Optimus Prime 22#.

Andy managed to sit down in the fun times and chaos of TFNation 2018 and got a chance to talk to the one and only Thew aka Toygrind aka Barutazaru aka big sexy toy lad, the last one was an assumption. Moonbase 2 returns to its normal shows....well as normal as they ever can be with Master Andy and young Mikey talking about things. For this weeks episode in the world of Transformers there's sketches of a new IDW sorta styled Planet X figure of Starsaber, USA airing dates for Cyberverse and the Decepticons have been announced for the first wave of War for Cybertron: Seige. It was Sunday, the sunday night of TFNation 2018, a tired Andy and a worn down Tricky talk about what they can remember about their weekend and what they got but haven't even had time to play with yet!

One week before TFNation 2018 kicks off what nuggets do Andy and Mikey have for you to hear about? Well........umm there are cake decorations coming......woo. But in more important news theres 2 more TF Legend comics featuring IDW creators but could these be the last 2 comics? Moonbase can only hope this isnt the case! Plus the usual from the lads on what they did this week.

It is a dry week for Transformers news this week so the Moonbase Boi's scrap the bottom of the barrel for stuff such as TF costumes for babies and reissue of the Unite Warriors Devestator and Superion. Plus a little bit of stuff the guys have done this week.

8 comics this month guys.......8!!!!! my god there is a mighty girthy amount to cover so Mikey and Andy do what they do and spitball about all of them. So we have Lost Light issues 19#-21#, Optimus Prime 20#-21# and we kick off the end of the universe with Unicron issues 0#-2#. On this weeks Moonbase 2 episode Japan had a convention and showed off a butt ton of the Flametoys items coming from their high end none transforming figures to the cheaper model kits, also at the cone MP figures were shown as well as a surprise Hound. The Bumblebee Movie also has a new/old evasion mode Optimus figure coming, its upscale and maybe transforms in a different way, weird. More stuff as well to enjoy so we hope you enjoy this weeks show.

It's SDCC 2018 people and we get hit by a...small wave of new reveals and Transformers stuff. Its not a mighty wave but you know....its fine, so more figures from Cyberverse as well as a clip and the intro sequence where shown off, more from the Studio Series line with new figures from the Bee movie and the older ones and more from War for Cybertron. But the question is "where are all the decepticons from the line?" know one knows. So come and enjoy the news with Andy and Mikey for this week, enjoy.

With the end of IDW's current run on Transformers ever approaching young, pretty Mikey decided to sit down with John Barber once again to pick is his brain over Optimus Prime other comic stuff.

TFcon 2018 happened this weekend of of course there is the yearly wave of 3rd Party Transformers figures from loads and loads of companies, some new stuff and some nearer to complete image of stuff we've seen before. Also there are pictures of the new line for Transformers called War for Cybertron where they show off a new prime, sideswipe and a targetmaster, ooooo you will hear people say.  

On this episode of Moonbase 2 Andy and Mikey talk about stuff coming to SDCC specifically the exclusive that were shown off such as the Throne of The Primes figure, the price on the Super 7 Optimus Prime, Han Cholo jewelry and panels revolving around Transformers at the event. New...well....sorta new stuff from Fansproject come up and Mech Fans Toys show off Chivalrouser a legends scale Chromedome, plus more stuff of course for this episode. So we hope you enjoy it all.
