Our first full roster ep recorded in 2018 and boy is there a lot to talk about. The JoeFundMe; The Barracuda vid, and now the Transportable Tactical Battle Plaform vid that just dropped; the uncertain future of Toys R Us has compelled us to wax nostalgic about our most treasured TRU memories; and the announcement of a proposed Joe movie in 2020 makes us want to revisit an old fave of a topic: what would we want from a GI Joe film?   It's a party. But how would your enjoyment be affected if you could no longer see? In our 103rd session we interview Chris Huff, AKA The Blind Master about his love for toys both before and after losing his sight. It's a tale that needs to be told, and one that has certainly left the Joburg boys a little more in love with our collections than we were before. We can all stand to learn a thing or two from this man.

(...changes colors right before your eyes... ZARTAN!). In keeping with the theme, the boys rattle off their favourite fancy-dress Joe's as well as a pair of freakshow new Cobra agents you wouldn't want stalking you after dark... Mwahahahahahahaha!

There is a great divide in our hobby. GI Joe collectors are split right down the middle. You're either a vintage guy or a modern era guy. You might even be a girl... But my point is, sure, you can like both... but can you truly claim to like them both EQUALLY? In Episode 101 you will hear opinions from two polar opposites on how they view this conundrum. Representing all that is vintage is GI Joburg's Steve. Representing the modern era, we welcome back an exciting voice of our community - STRYDENT! Do you mix it all up and do battle royale? Or do you blow a gasket at the sight of Pursuit of Cobra figures climbing all over a vintage vehicle? It's time we had "The Talk"...

What's in a number, right? Well, if nothing else, it's a great excuse to feature some FANTASTIC guests on the show. In an episode loosely subtitled GI Joe: The Past, Present and Future; we go way back to some treasured childhood memories with Steve's oldest friend, Alastair Stokell; we talk figure and vehicle customization with a master of the game, Jim Godfrey; and we speculate on the future of GI Joe with a true pillar of the community, Bryan "HCC788" Lower. Pop a cork with us and let's ring in the triple digits! It only took six years...

Time to wrap up on another miniseries. Operation Dragonfire, love it or hate it, it's part of GI Joe history. And to quote the Sally Jupiter from Watchmen: "Every day, the future looks a little bit darker. Stay locked onto us this week for a whole lotta DIC.   Okay, the DIC thing is getting old, I'll try to reign it in. But it was so damn funny to me as a child. I don't think I'll ever get over it.

Choose Your Own Adventure: '90s Subteam Edition! Join us as we live-roleplay three tales based around a few of the most notorious GI Joe and Cobra subsets. Lily and Paul are on the line from Joburg, Rob's in Cape Town. Cujo joins us from Long Beach and Steve is in Singapore of all places.
