    Lois Kapila is the managing editor of Dublin Inquirer. A news site that launched in last June. Sebastian Stephenson checked in with Lois to see how things are coming along. Along the way we also discuss a south Dublin centric perspective to a lot of national media, the inspiration for the site and their unique business model for the media industry in Ireland. In this episode we also speak to Noel Sutton about this year's 2015 GAZE International Film Festival. Finally we check in on Lilliput Press to see what they have coming out.

    Ángel Luis Gonzálaez Fernández is the festival founder and director of PhotoIreland. Sebastian Stephenson speaks to him the day before PhotoIreland 2015 starts. We discuss the underfunding of the festival, image culture in Ireland, the structure of the festival, moving PhotoIreland beyond photography and looking at the broader dimensions of image culture and we finished by looking at some of the Asian and European photographers and photographic events that are part of the main exhibitions. One of the events from Photoireland is the Irish premiere of a radio documentary, we interview the maker to tell us why a radio documentary is at a photography festival and we round up some of the broadcasting developments in Ireland in the past month.

    A JDIFF discussion gone down the rabble hole, in a good way. Clara Rose Thornton is our guest. Clara is a culture journalist, radio and television broadcaster, spoken word artist; poetry workshop instructor, and promoter. You have heard her on RTE radio and television along with various print publications. We start talking about the film, All About Eva, that was made for €7000. Made part-time without any professional crew this lead us into the Irish film industry perception of itself and how that differs from the rest of the world. We talk about Irelands self-destructive, self-deprecative culture and it just gets way more interesting. We also find out more about the first International Dublin Game Music Festival. Finally we talk to NCAD Student Action about the problems between management and students. (Note: We mentioned the film All Aboout Eva was made for €7000.
