    My neighbor & friend Joel Frame joins the show today. Joel is a hip hop artist with a vision to teach kids how to make hip hop music & express themselves in a positive way. The Battleground is a place Joel dreamed up (& eventually brought to life) where teenagers can come learn how to write songs, make beats, record & produce their music all in the same place. The Battleground is equipped with state of the art studio gear that the kids learn how to use & work on their stuff. Joel & his team of volunteers have created a safe place for kids (some of whom live in not so ideal situations) to come after school and work on their passion in a real studio.
