    Welcome to the Handling Business podcast! We wanted to start off our podcast with a bang by talking to one of the most successful dog walking business owners in the country. Lauren Cora is the owner of Dogs Deserve It, a Chicago based business that employs over 70 dog walkers, 5 managers and takes care of 300-400 dogs per day. Lauren started law school with intentions of becoming a lawyer, but quickly knew that she needed to capitalize on her eternal entrepreneurial fervor. After much research and contemplation, Lauren started DDI in 2009 by herself and has since grown the company to 70 walkers and five in-house managers.
