Episodes

  • Love As I Do

    21/05/2017 Duration: 31min

Pastor Craig discusses the practical side of two unusual words: "inextricable" and "paraclete". There's not really any word to replace either one, but they do have meaning for us in everyday life. We're getting ready for Pentecost, and Jesus is in His farewell discourse. How do we love like Jesus loved? Find out in this week's message. The main text is John 14:15-21, but we'll also refer to 1 John 4:19, Romans 8:26-27, Romans 8:34 and Psalm 19:1ff.

  • The Gate

    07/05/2017 Duration: 28min

From John 10:1-10, Pastor Craig preaches from the pulpit of Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church in Rural Antler, ND. Having some fun with riddles and metaphors, Pastor Craig discusses how the message of Christ can be hidden behind a riddle that we just don't know the answer to; but once you understand the meaning behind the riddle, it actually makes a lot of sense.

  • He Is Risen Indeed

    16/04/2017 Duration: 29min

In his Easter Morning message, Pastor Craig reminds us of the account of the empty tomb, Jesus' body is no longer in the tomb, and everyone wondered how and why. We address the times when we question whether the resurrection could have actually happened or not. Using the examples of Grandma's Homemade Bread, an Airline Flight and your own beating heart, we have far more faith in everyday life than we might realize. Text references: Matthew 28:1-10, Hebrews 12:28, Colossians 3:1-4

  • Who's This?

    09/04/2017 Duration: 32min

The Palm Sunday Message from Pastor Craig Schmidt poses an interesting question: "Who is this?" Jesus makes a triumphant entry into Jerusalem, and everyone in the crowd was asking that question. Have you considered yourself as part of that crowd. Who do YOU say this Man is? The text is taken from Matthew 21:1-11
