Alexis is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and also diabetes, since being diagnosed in 2018. While as a student-athlete, she’s been heavily involved in several roles to promote awareness for both topics. Alexis currently serves as a communications and advocacy intern for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota with a focus on racial health and equity.
