At Journey, we are continuing our series entitled, "The Waiting Room." We've been attempting to answer the question, “What do we do when we don’t know what to do?” This week, Pastor Christian talks about Waiting Room Wars that we all need to battle in order to be able to worship Jesus in the midst of them. He gives a helpful 40 Day Pentecost Challenge to find Jesus in some daily time in the Scriptures.

Well, this was the most “different” Easter that we as a church have ever experienced! But, as Pastor Christian shared in his message, this Easter was more like how the very first Easter looked, the “in homes” part. And with this month being one of the craziest that any of us have ever lived through - hard for many, scary for some, lonely for most, we want to be reminded that Easter and the resurrection of Jesus represent the light that can change our perspective and our security.

At Journey, we launch a NEW series entitled, "The Waiting Room." Throughout the next 5 weeks we will be attempting to answer this question, “What do we do when we don’t know what to do?” Pastor Christian shares how during this season of isolation and staying at home can be an extremely powerful time of spiritual growth and renewal if you are disciplined and intentional.

In many ways, our world looks very different than it did just a few weeks ago. The Coronavirus outbreak has significantly altered how we live our lives day-to-day. We have been encouraged to refrain from gathering in groups greater than ten and to avoid as much contact with others as possible. Obviously, this impacts how we know and understand community. In this episode, Pastor Christian responds to the recent COVID - 19 and reminds us that we serve a God of Hope. Our hope can be found in the person of Jesus.

This week Pastor Christian launches a new study entitled Four Cups. Leading up to Easter, we will unpack the four “I will” statements of the Passover meal in an effort to find and fulfill our purpose. This week, we will take a closer look at the statement from Exodus 6:6, “I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.”

In this episode of Activate, Pastor Christian looks back at ancient Jewish traditions for a fresh look at generosity. You will discover that the Old Testament is not an outdated collection of books that no longer have application for our lives. Rather, if you desire to know Jesus in deeper ways, the Old Testament and ancient Jewish traditions are the key to unlocking the greater treasures of the Messiah.

In the second episode of our Difference Makers series, Pastor Christian shares the importance establishing a daily mindset for ministry. If we are going to chase the vision, we need to contemplate how we can leverage today so that we might impact tomorrow.
