This week, we look at a guy who was so rough in Rugby, that he ended up having to become a boxer, in the middle of his career. He fought, threw cheap shots, and even used his fingers for purposes that certainly aren't legal, in any sport. He also consorted with alleged drug dealers, beat people outside of bars, and had quite an interesting trip to the local grocery store. But that's just the *finger*tip of the iceberg, as this man has done enough crazy things for several lives, including having 11 children! Off the field, it's getting so drunk that you can't remember punching a cab driver, as he drove 75 mph on the interstate, or gun play in a strip club parking lot, or teaming with your mother to try to shoot your sister's boyfriend. This week, we look at story that is deep in underground criminal lore. An English kickboxer, with international titles, but we barely have time for any sports, due to this episode being packed with crime. Wall to wall. His main occupation was robbing drug dealers for very large amounts of cash & product. Sometimes, needing to torture the unsuspecting dealer with a clothes iron. He claims to the main person to set off a famous riot, that lasted 9 days, and injured hundreds. He's just an all around bad dude. This week, we look at hall of fame player, who was the best at what he did, from the second he stepped on to a basketball court. The world bent over backwards to show him love, and let him off the hook, at every turn. He had a very public marriage, even hosting a TV show, with his wife. But under the surface, there was allegations of a decade of abuse, with implements of violence ranging all the way from a baseball bat, to a large cookie. In addition, he is a TERRIBLE driver, especially when he's had "a few" drinks! Some cracks began to appear, while still playing. He attacked a reporter, and fought with coaches & teammates. But once he retired, the full impact that his physical style began to show, on his brain. A charge of twice firebombing a business associate & long time friend. He had an epic, and disturbing showdown with police, who wanted him top stop choking & hitting his wife, with a remote control. But they didn't much better luck, with the whole thing escalating from violence to a showdown! This week, we look into the life of a man, was in trouble since middle school, and kept a steady pace of police interaction, through pretty much his whole life, so far. He came from bad circumstances, being called "crusty" as a kid, but used basketball to overcome that situation, making himself an extremely wealthy man, in the process. All of that, and he never left his friends behind. Which sounds nice, unless your friends continue to beat, shoot, attack, street race, and be accused of even worse. This week, we check out the life of the man who inspired Sylvester Stallone to write the Rocky character. He came from the streets, liking a barroom brawl even more than a fight in the ring. In boxing, he was known mainly for two things, being the bloodiest fighter, maybe in boxing history, and getting a shot, out of nowhere, to fight Muhammad Ali, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Just like Rocky! He spends the rest of his life selling liquor, legally, and for a little while, selling cocaine, illegally. A federal investigation brings an end to that, but years later, he's in hot water, again, this time for being involved with memorabilia counterfeiting!! The crazy never stops with this guy! All seemed set for a great career, and a good relationship with the community. The football didn't pan out quite like he thought, but the off the field violence does. But racing is an expensive sport to maintain, he found that out, first hand. His solution? Smuggle huge amounts of cocaine, in your car parts, while returning from other countries. This week, we check out a guy, who was already signing autographs, while in the 6th grade. A prodigy, and phenom, on the level of Lebron James, but he could never quite live up to the hype. Instead, he screwed up. A lot. He seems to have particular liking of guns, specifically carrying them, in places that he shouldn't, such as planes, or New York City. He beefed with rappers, hung out with celebrities, and always ended up in trouble. He even took part in a huge financial scheme with 18 other NBA players! This week, we look at a man who went from being a two time World Series champion, and the pride of his hometown, to being an embarrassment, to all concerned. His upbringing was one for the ages, complete with some things that not even we have heard about, before. His end in baseball came quickly, but his life of crime spans a good 20 years. Somehow, he thinks it's just fine to steal directly from his employers. He learns his lesson, then moves on to ripping off individuals, with some domestic disturbances, mixed in, including being stabbed by his wife, badly enough to have his stepson taken from them. This week, we check out a very well known wrestlers, who worked for both WWF (at the time), and WCW, being on tv, just about every week, for more than 10 years, after his football career ended. He was known for his incredible physique, and also his incredible arrogance. It all came tumbling down, in a haze of pills, booze & steroids. From driving 167 MPH, to having a large stash of drugs found in his house, after an equally well known female wrestling star dies, in his condo. It gets even worse for him, after he is confined to a wheelchair, and had to struggle just to have some mobility.
