Northern Iowa has a plethora of next level talent returning for the 2020 season. Amongst the most outstanding players, senior defensive lineman Jared Brinkman is coming off of a highly productive 2019 season. With another standout year, Brinkman is a player to watch during the 2021 NFL Draft cycle. 

After beginning his career at the University of Utah, Austin Lee made the most of his opportunity over his final two seasons at BYU. With notable range on the back end, Lee has some nice coverage versatility moving to the next level. He is the type of safety that could be a steal in the later rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft. 

After a breakout season in 2019, Missouri linebacker Nick Bolton has already grabbed the attention of the NFL. An explosive athlete with a well put together frame, Bolton could rise to the top of the talented linebacker board with another big season.

After beginning his career at Mississippi State, quarterback Nick Tiano transferred back home to play for the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. With great glimpses over his final two seasons, Nick now has his eyes set towards professional football. With the pre draft winding down, he has a chance to sit down with our own Ryan Roberts to discuss his college career, pre draft process and an outlook moving forward.

After an achilles injury ending his 2019 campaign early, University of Maine linebacker Deshawn Stevens is back for vengeance in 2020.  Heading back to Stevens' sophomore year, he was one of the best off ball linebackers on the FCS level. En route to an All-CAA honor, Stevens would post 120 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and nine sacks. At 6-2 and 255 pounds, you aren't going to find many more impressive linebackers physically in all of college football. 

Apart of one of the best defensive units on the FCS level, defensive lineman Seth Thomas has stood as a valuable contributor for the unit over the last few seasons. At 6'6" and 264 pounds, Thomas has some traits that are very appealing as he transitions to the professional level. 

After blowing up the National Scouting Combine, Maryville College LB/S Jamal Ware has put the scouting world on notice. With experience playing multiple roles on a defense, he has some interesting physical traits professional teams can build on. He discusses his path to Maryville, playing career and outlook into the future. 

With experience at both cornerback and safety during his Rhode Island career, Momodou Mbye ended his career with a bang in 2019, recorded 67 tackles and 5 interceptions. With his Rams career coming to an end, Mbye now has his eyes set to proving his worth to a professional team. He sits down with Ryan Roberts to discuss his career, some favorite moments and outlook into the future. 

Coming off a very productive season in 2019 for Ball State, quarterback Drew Plitt has even higher expectations for himself and his team heading into 2020. Sitting down with our own Ryan Roberts, Drew spoke about his love for Ball State, relived some of his individual successes, an outlook for his team moving towards next season and his dreams of playing professional football.

A versatile defender, Haji-Badri is ready to tap into his potential that once made him a high recruit coming out of Chantilly High School in Virginia.
