    Today Mark chats to Ben Hoffman and Caroline Livesey who both won the PATAGONMAN XTRI. This race is fast becoming one of the most popular extreme triathlons on the circuit, and for good reason. It has it all, a ferry jump into cold water, a bike route that has three distinct characteristics over the 180kms, plus 2500m of climbing. However, it is the run (44km) that steals the show with massive skys, huge mountains and lake views, and all off road. Let's not mention the wind!
