No brewery in Florida is too far for us, and we will speak to every brewer and brewery to learn more about the culture, their journey, and their beer. Join What Ales Ya as they educate and inform the world about what's amazing in Florida beer.What Ales Ya is also speaking with more important figures in the beer community, and reaching out to bands to discuss their history, music and beers of choice on episodes called "Sharing Cans With Bands" (SCWB)

    Host Brian Quain was invited and sat on a panel at the Florida Brewers Conference 2018 about mental health in the brewing industry. Co-owner of Hidden Springs Ale Works, Jacqueline Garman called Quain up one morning asking if he had read an article on Shaun Hill (Farm Hillstead Brewing) discussing this topic of mental health, and from there, the panel grew bigger. The panel is a 90 minute discussion, and the episodes are broken into two parts. Also on the panel is Devon Kreps (7th Sun Brewery); Cindy Parsons (Assoc. Professor in Nursing at the Univ. of Tampa & Mental Health Practitioner) and Leanne Cura (Pres. of Center for Rational Living). These episodes can be pretty heavy in content, and not all views from the panel participants reflect how What Ales Ya feels, or vice versa. This open discussion has been a long time coming, and pleased to know it will be happening more.
