    Mellory Manning was a 27-year-old sex worker who was murdered in Christchurch, New Zealand, in December 2008. A member of the Mongrel Mob gang was arrested and convicted of her murder, but the charge was later dismissed. Mellory’s case is one of the most high-profile unsolved murders in New Zealand. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the murder of Mellory Manning. Mellory and her partner were in the process of straightening of their lives and getting clean. On December 18th, 2008, Mellory went out to perform sex work in order to buy Christmas gifts for her family. It was supposed to be her last night of that type of work. Unfortunately, she never made it home. There was a gang headquarters close by where she was last seen, and suspicion quickly fell on the gang.
