Full show: Thursday, June 20, 2024: The Morning Team, with Eliot Shorr-Parks in for Jon Ritchie, discusses the relationship between Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts. Howard Eskin joins the show at 8am to discuss the relationship between the Eagles' head coach and QB and explains his "Carson Wentz him" comment from two days ago.  Ben Davis is also in-studio as we continue to discuss the Phillies, who are now just 7.0 games ahead of the surging Braves in the NL East. 

Listeners call the Time’s Yours line and leave messages on the Phillies and Eagles. One of the messages sounded like Jalen Hurts, but it was Joe Conklin.

Joe DeCamara asks Ben Davis who in baseball he was most excited to meet. Then Life Advice with The Hammer, who is asked about the popularity of soccer. 

Hour 3: Howard Eskin joins the show to discuss the Nick Sirianni, Jalen Hurts relationship and his previous comments on the Eagles potentially moving on from Hurts if he has another bad season. Also, we discuss yesterday's Phillies game. Every 94WIP show was represented. 

Jack Fritz was forced to start Eagles chants at yesterday's Phillies game as a punishment and he took some heat from Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen on the radio broadcast of the game. 

Howard Eskin joins the Morning team to talk about the relationship between Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts. Howard explains his comments from earlier this week where he said the Eagles could "Carson Wentz" Jalen Hurts if he has a bad season. 

Hour 2: Eliot Shorr-Parks believes Jalen Hurts is the most important in the Eagles' building, over Nick Sirianni and Howie Roseman. ESP and Joe DeCamara continue to debate the relationship between Sirianni and Hurts and who is more responsible for the 2024 success of the Eagles. We also examine the similarities with Doug Pederson/Nick Sirianni and Carson Wentz/Jalen Hurts.

The Morning team and callers explore the similarities between Jalen Hurts and Carson Wentz. Joe DeCamara is concerned Jalen is following the same path as Carson Wentz.

Ben Davis joins the Morning team in studio. Ben says it's a long season and he is always worried about the Braves, who are just 7.0 games back of the Phillies in the NL East.

Eliot Shorr-Parks believes it Nick Sirianni’s job to handle Jalen Hurts issue and to make sure his on the same page as his QB. Joe DeCamara disagrees and still blames Jalen for his comments.

Joe DeCamara and Jody Mac (in for Jon Ritchie) react to Howard Eskin saying the Eagles will "Carson Wentz" Jalen Hurts if he does not play well. Jody McDonald tells the story of his photo with the legendary Willie Mays, who passed away yesterday at the age of 93. Ray Didinger joins the show to talk about the "Say Hey Kid," as well. And Hugh Douglas joins in the show's final hour to talk about throwing out today's first pitch at the Phillies game. 

Hour 4: The Morning team and callers discuss Willie Mays passing. The team plays audio of the first time Vin Scully met Willie Mays. The team talks to Ray Didinger about the Say Hey Kid.

Ray Didinger joins the Morning team to remember Willie Mays. Ray called Willie the best player he ever saw. Ray tells the story of interviewing Willlie Mays. 

Hugh Douglas joins the Morning team and discusses his prep for throwing out the first pitch at the Phillies game today. 

Hour 3: The Morning team and callers react to Ross Tucker & Howard Eskin’s comments on Jalen Hurts. Jody debates Joe and callers whether Jalen calls audibles at line of scrimmage. 

The Phillies big walk off win over the Padres and Robert Suarez reminds us the last time Phillies fans saw Suarez—Bedlam of the Bank when Harper homered in 2022 Padres series. 

We remember the legendary Willie Mays, who passed away at the age of 93 yesterday. Joe DeCamara and James Seltzer share some amazing Willie Mays stats.
