It’s a cause that hits particularly close to home for Philly he joined Dermot and Dave to tell them all about it and he chats all things GAA.

The world of Irish dancing has been thrown into scandal with allegations of feis fixing and cheating. The Irish Independent has reported that An Coimisiún Le Rincí Gaelacha, the governing body over Irish dancing, is investigating 'several grievous breaches' of their Code of Conduct. Ellen Coyne, who broke the story for the Irish Independent, joined Dermot and Dave with the latest.

They’ve become best friends, a source of constant support but they’re a group of people who’d likely wish they’d never met. Féileacáin are a volunteer run charity who offer practical help, unending support and guidance to people who have suffered pregnancy and baby loss. Thinking of things no one should ever have to consider, they’ve become a lifeline to people suffering the most unimaginable sadness. Celine Langton had first hand experience of Féileacáin when her daughter, Izzy, was born sleeping at 33 weeks. She joined Dermot and Dave to chat about Izzy, the help she received from Féileacáin and to tell us about the Butterfly Run which will end Pregnancy and Baby Loss Week. When Shane Gaffney was doing his J1 in 2013, he could never have imagined that he’d be paying off a debt nearly 10 years later, or that the debt would be two pints of Guinness. Shane, who’s family on Gaffney and Sons in Fairview, paid for a cab fare while living abroad with the promise of two pints of Guinness. Irish American taxi driver John McDonagh never forgot the debt and as he prepares to perform his one man show in the capital, he thought it was time to pop in for a visit. John and Shane joined Dermot and Dave to tell the brilliant story and John shared some incredible tales from 40 years driving the streets of the Big Apple.
