Raised by both parents, he feels they treated him like the black sheep of the family, different from his sisters. He felt his father set a bad example, but Samuel hid his drug dealing, thieving street life from his suspicious parents. Describing the thrill of crime, he said he'd pretend to help a person while stealing from him. When caught sometimes, people threatened him with a pistol put in his mouth — three times!
