Reverend Bernyce Hall Clausell was born November 19, 1916 in Thomson, GA, in 1958 she and her husband organized Calvary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, FL where she pastored for 18 years. Under her pastorate, the church became a community-based church with many outreach projects that made local and national history. She was known as the "Black Mother Teresa" and the "State Mother of Prisons." Rev. Bernyce Clausell passed on to the other side of eternity in 2015. Rev.
