    The G-Funk PPV era was so fun! Here's a PPV taped in December, that aired in March, was released on DVD in April, and thus was one of TWO Rising Above pay per views that aired in 2008. Plus it's not aired in the same order it took place, the first match is like the 3rd match, but some of it is missing and put on the DVD as bonus footage, and the PPV main event happens in the middle of the live event...you get the idea.Plus we all spend two days in a row in NYC, meaning one night in an NYC bar on the kindness of Greg H's tab...suffice it to say it was an adventure.And the show itself, a banger really...full of exciting matches, an amazing (PPV) main event that had no right to be as good as it was considering the circumstances, Bryan and Morishima, Albright being used in a situation he excels, just ROH firing on all cylinders here.
