This week, Jack and Jeremy sit down to watch the 1994 Disney film, "Angels in the Outfield". Being a childhood favorite of Jack and a film Jeremy had never seen, we'll see not only how this film holds up, but how it comes across to a skeptical man in his late 30s. Along the way, you'll hear the guys' take on the acting virtues of the late, great Taylor Negron, an unintended tribute to journeyman outfielder Luis Polonia, and a crackerjack Danny Glover impression by our very own Jack Swokowski! Jack and Jeremy welcome their first in-game guest, Marc Bubblebath (musician, English Softhearts, Orphan Schlitz) as they take in the White Sox vs. Tigers game at Guaranteed Rate Field. Hear the tale of an unfortunate Tigers fan who took a major whack to the hand in an attempt to catch a foul ball and the scene it caused in the aftermath. The dollar dogs were flying tonight as well, so much so, that the guys were reprimanded for their overzealous interaction with a short-handed hot dog vendor. Also, Marc tries to get to the bottom of Jack and Jeremy’s fascination about ripping the video board presentations and Jeremy shares a couple fun stories from his and Marc’s past. Rain Delay Theater hits the road for the first time in the 2019 season as Jack and Jeremy drive out to South Bend, Indiana to see the South Bend Cubs take on the Bowling Green Hot Rods and #1 prospect in baseball, Wander Franco! Jack and Jeremy get the parking runaround, bake their butts off in the hot Indiana sun, and one of the guys eats a hot dog or two at the game...but which one...? The guys also recap a story of meaty-mitted Cubs manager Buddy Bailey and a kid's jersey with a perilously tight neck hole. Jack and Jeremy take in a very busy White Sox vs. Yankees game at G-Rate Field for Disco Demolition Anniversary Night...no, Polish Heritage Night...no, Team USA Women's Softball Night...well, maybe all 3 and more? The guys meet their craziest fan this season, if not in the history of Rain Delay Theater, "Bob". Hear all about the exploits of this promotional giveaway-clad, jig-dancing, hat-tossing, chant-starting mad man (38:10)! Also!!! Jeremy catches a baseball from Tim Anderson...or did he steal it from Jack - listen to find out (49:34)! Before any of the action in the stadium happened, the guys stand behind a couple of knuckleheads sneaking warm bottles of Coors in front of them in line and their dilemma to finish and dispose of the bottles before gates open and to avoid bashing their shins into moving guardrails in the process (8:36). Just in time for the upcoming MLB Draft, the guys from Rain Delay Theater check in with a draft of their own, a Ballpark Food Draft! Jack and Jeremy draft a menu of 5 ballpark food favorites! Hear Jack's rant about Dippin' Dots, the ice cream of the future, Jeremy tells a tragic story about squandered garlic fries, and we find out that Jack is a jalapeño guy! In the intro, the guys do preview the actual MLB Draft a bit, Jack reports briefly on a solo trip to a White Sox game, and Jeremy comments on Cardinals' fans commitment to booing Kris Bryant this weekend in boring ol' St. Louis. Jack and Jeremy head to Wrigley Field to see Jake Arrieta face his former team for the first time since leaving as a Free Agent...also Bryce Harper's first game in Wrigley as a Phillie. What they mostly saw was a lot of clueless yutzes posing for pictures almost exclusively when the Cubs had runners in scoring position. Also hear about the group of high schoolers sitting behind Jack and Jeremy and the Pennygate mystery of tossed coins. The guys recap a blown check swing call that cost the Cubs the game, Joe Girardi steamrolling Bob Costas during the 7th inning stretch, and have a heated and impassioned conversation about the band Fountains of Wayne.

The Rain Delay Theater crew head out to the White Sox game to see the #1 prospect in baseball, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., in action! But the main event quickly turns out to be the new, ill-conceived video board segment, The Bongo Cam and one fan's highly inappropriate obscene gesture! Also highlighting the guys' trip to the park was one horribly designed "custom" jersey displaying the names of 7 White Sox players on the back and Jeremy shares his utter disdain for this design travesty. A pitiful Pedro Strop outing, a Kyle Ryan brain cramp, meathead fans invoke the names of Alou and Bartman, and so much more highlight this week's episode. Plus, Jeremy shares a story of a windblown hat out a car window that may have led to an accident, Jack is pegged as a native Quebecer, and the guys are almost hit by a car on their way to the field. The 2019 baseball season starts for real this week as Jack and Jeremy head out to their first live game action of the season and bring you a SUPER-SIZED episode! First the guys head to the southside to see the White Sox take on the Royals. It was barely 2 innings into the game when Jack and Jeremy got their first taste of classic White Sox rowdy fan behavior! See who the guys pick to represent each jersey number and have them do battle in an ultimate tournament to see who is, um, the best...uniform...guy...? However it turns out, this is a fun one where the guys actually give their opinions on some of baseball's all-time greats and take a deep dive into their stats!

Can baseball hurry up and get here already?!? This week Jack and Jeremy try to kill the time by going back and re-evaluating Rookie of the Year voting from 2005 to 2015 to see if they got it right or overlooked a future Hall of Famer. At the top of the show, the guys pay tribute to a great comedian and baseball fan, Steven Brody Stevens, who passed away a few weeks ago. The countdown to the 2019 season is underway as Spring Training is starting up and Jack and Jeremy are here to take a look at some of the Non-Roster invitees. How else could the guys have an excuse to rag on some major leaguers hanging on by a thread so early in the season? This week Jack and Jeremy escape the polar vortex of Chicago all the way north to Caledonia, Wisconsin to see 17U high school prep baseball as the White Sox Amateur City Elite players take on the Class of 2020 Hitters baseball team! This is the same travel team that #6 pick Jarred Kelenic played on last year! The guys arrive at a wrong address for the facility and are creeped out by Wisconsin back roads - but finally make it to the right place! Tune in to their recap of this really fun, cool, and unique indoor winter baseball experience. There's some salty coach/umpire chirping, some impressive prospects, and some odd ground rules! Also, Jeremy clarifies the Sammy Sosa bad acting commercials he mentioned on last ep. Before the 2019 Hall of Fame voting results are announced, Jack and Jeremy chime in to run down the '19 ballot and give their votes for this year's class of baseball greats. Along the way you'll be treated to Jack and Jeremy's thoughts on allowing steroid players in the HOF, a throwback yelling at Lance Berkman story, and some vocal impressions of Sammy Sosa in his various commercial appearances. For this week's episode, Jack and Jeremy provide a very thorough recap of their viewing of the 1996 Tony Scott movie "The Fan" starring Robert De Niro and Wesley Snipes. As you can imagine, the guys have some choice criticism of this baseball movie masterpiece. They discuss the main character's odd obsession, not only with baseball, but also with the Rolling Stones, the classic theme of a young boy's fondness for knives, and the senseless murder of John Kruk in the movie's climactic final scene.
