Have you heard that well known cliche, "Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven"? I have and I've even said it...quite often! There's even a bumper sticker for it. Until years ago as I heard that quote, I realized, there's great responsibility to our received forgiveness from GOD. Think of the woman at the feet of Jesus, she poured it all out. She abandoned her so-called "dignity", of what she had left and left it all on HIM because she received the forgiveness of her sin as that very gift that was placed on her destroyed every bit of shame. Yet even in that forgiveness, it didn't cause her to make excuses of her imperfections; instead it made her aware of the divine responsibility that JESUS pointed out that day to all those who witnessed her act of love for HIM. He spoke, as recorded in Luke 7:36-50, "She loves much because she was forgiven of much."Today, I discuss this along with some other things that perhaps will cause you to see hurts and injuries

A couple days ago while at a dear friend's daughter's wedding, I met this wonderful woman named Deb. As we spoke I found out she was from Iowa and was in for the weekend to attend the wedding of our mutual friends and realizing she was the American family to the bride's father who is from Columbia. As Deb and I continued to converse, she handed me her business card while briefly sharing her family's incredible faith story and a foundation her son had started. I was in awe of GOD and this family to where I just had to ask, "Will you be a special guest on my show and come to my studio?" When we give example to things that we are teaching or talking about; whether it's how to do something or what we can liken something to, its not just for duplicating but to show the template or structure to that thing so we know the purpose, or "the why" as once you now the why, it's walked out into our everyday lives with incredible passion and intentionality. Getting to have an impromptu interview with Heather Blü was an incredible honor. This episode with Heather is a highlight of the many things we discussed in the studio.
