He reminds us that the fruits of the flesh are always in conflict with the fruits of the Spirit and to feed the fruit of the Spirit, we have to remain to the source. In John 15:1-5, Jesus describes Himself as the true vine and us as the branches. To bear fruit, we must stay connected to Him where we will continue to experience pruning for greater fruitfulness. This pruning is God’s way of helping us grow, not a punishment.

A grace-filled life is a Spirit-filled life. In week three of our series, Pastor Mitch Rose guides us in understanding the Holy Spirit through Galatians 5:16-18. To live a grace-filled life, we must understand how the Holy Spirit operates. Though He is unseen, He is powerful and often moves in unpredictable ways. Recognizing these qualities, we can better understand His guidance and influence in our everyday experiences.

Grace without truth is meaningless but truth without grace is downright mean. In the second week of our new series, Pastor Mitch Rose talks about finding the right balance between grace and truth through Galatians 2:19-21. He points out three good things that grace gives us when we start following Christ, leaving the old self behind: a new position, a new family, and a new lens for life.
