Synopsis

Since moving to New York City (Nov 2016), I am using thIs Mixcloud to host podcasts of my radio show, Diggin It With Dezie.Broadcast on www.Likwid.London every Thursday at 9pm UK time/4pm EST, the show features Soul, Jazz, Blues and Reggae music and anything that could conceivably fit under those categories. All the music I play is from my collection. I use two Technics SL-1210 turntables, Stanton 500 cartridges and an Ecler Pro 20 analogue mixer with a Shure SM58 mic. I also play some digital tracks because new releases are not always available on vinyl and I can't miss out on great music. Neither can you!I am passionate about the music and sharing it with an appreciative audience is an absolute pleasure.Thank you and enjoy the show!Dezie

More gems re-discovered amongst my record collection. Antibalas is a favourite and no-one remixes Afrobeat like Umoja - it's the opening track, check it out. Justin Thurgur fronts the Dele Sosimi Horn Section. 'You've Got To' is one of many high quality tracks on his debut Afrobeat album, released late in 2016. Clarence Smith is an artist you may not have come across before. I feature two tracks from his 'Whatever Happened To Love' album which is Gospel Music at it's very best. And if you like something you haven't heard before, check out Paul Hunter and The Answer. It's one of many excellent tracks that fall under the radar on first release. At www.Likwid.London great music never goes un-noticed. Tune in any time any day to hear Free Flowing Music To Open Your Mind. Enjoy!
