This week we're reading "Christmas in Silver Bell Falls" by Samantha Chase. It's the most wonderful time of the year - Hallmark holiday movie season! To celebrate Ganesh's favorite genre, we're dipping into the literary equivalent. It's our fourth dip into Truant's sprawling vampiric universe and Big Reg is still climbing the social ladder while making time to binge on junk food. Something, frankly, we should all aspire to.

This week we're reading "In the House of Vodouisant" by David McMullen-Sullivan. We're back in business with the harrowing sequel to last Halloween's "Moorehead Manor" episode - per the author's request! Does it stack up to the original?? Who's to say!

This week we're reading "Cowboy Wins a Bride" by Cora Seton. Or, we tried to, anyway. See, we recorded an episode. A great episode! Unfortunately, we seem to have lost most of it. Ganesh's computer made a whoopsy and now we're left looking like fools. Ah! Well. Waste not, want not. This week we're reading "The Big Bad Office Wolf" by May Sage. Spoilers right off the bat: there are no werewolves in this book. There are no silver bullets. There's no howling at the moon. The only thing this book has in common with werewolf lore is a whole bunch of ripped and tattered pairs of jeans. Except it's not from supernatural metamorphosis, it's from a bunch of friggin BDSM. Snooze!

This week we're reading "The Rookie: Galactic Football League" by Scott Sigler. This book is "Any Given Sunday" meets "Star Wars." Or maybe it's "Remember the Titans" meets "Dune." Actually, scratch that, it's "Draft Day" meets "Starship Troopers." It's football in space, people.

This week we're reading "The Book of Joe B" by Michael Winn. Things are about to get BIBLICAL in this modern retelling of The Book of Job. Do we finally repent or is this episode another affront to God himself? He'll be the judge!

This week we're reading "The Tetradome Run" by Spencer Baum. This book is just like the movie "The Running Man" except there's no Arnold Schwarzenegger. Oh, and replace Richard Dawson with Ryan Seacrest. And you can't see any of it - it's just us, barely reading. Maybe just watch "The Running Man" instead.

This week we're reading "Emerald City" by Brian Birnbaum, with special guest... Brian Birnbaum! That's right, for the first time ever we have the author sitting in with us and taking it on the chin. Can Brian dish as well as he takes? Do we have the guts to let it rip right in the author's face? Or will we all just... get along?
