Synopsis
Bonnie & Tom lament the long lost radio show "Love Song Dedications", and in particular, the dulcet tones of Richard Mercer and his engagement with lovestruck or lovetorn individuals. The show ran every weeknight between 1997 and 2013, across the East Coast of Australia. Has the art of the love song dedication been lost? Do we need it?This series follows Bonnie & Tom on their quest to find the voice of the Love God, and exactly what made him special - along the way, they'll talk to the experts of love songs in their city. || The Missing Richard Mercer podcast is made in conjunction with the theatre production, "Love Song Dedications (without Richard Mercer)", by Ten Tonne Sparrow, which will be presented at PACT, Erskineville, 18-29 July, 2018.
