Episodes

  • Q Who, TNG S2 E16 Review, The Battle Bridge

    06/03/2015 Duration: 01h29min

Q throws the Enterprise into uncharted space where it encounters and is engaged by a vessel of a previously unknown species: the Borg. When the vessel instantly and effortlessly overwhelms the Enterprise, Picard realizes that the Federation may not be as ready for the future as he thought. This show was recorded before the death of Leonard Nimoy. It was intended to be posted the day it was recorded, so it wasn’t edited. Due to my mistake on Pen Pals, it had to be postponed. However I kept it like it is, unedited to give you a chance to see how it’s done before editing. Since it was not really put together, I was able to put in a small tribute to Leonard Nimoy and Mr. Spock. The music is “Amazing Grace” as performed by the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. It is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever made and I wanted to honor Mr. Nimoy with it’s playing. I hope you enjoy it. Today James and Lou discuss (Q Who) and what we think of it and much more as well as listener feedback,

  • Elementary, Dear Data, TNG S2 E3 Review, The Battle Bridge

    10/10/2014 Duration: 01h40min

Something strange is going on here. Data was summoned to engineering to see Mr. LaForge, but when he arrives there is nothing serious happening. In fact it would appear that Mr. LaForge is “over there” with the Victory. Did Data fall into some time distortion? Because the Enterprise isn’t scheduled to rendezvous with the USS Victory for another three days. Data finds out it’s a model of the original sailing ship, not the real one and Geordi has been working on it for days. It’s his gift to the Captain Zimbata. But since we have three days why not visit the holodeck. What could possibly go wrong there? No the question should be, what can go right there? That might take longer to explain. Today James and Lou discuss (Elementary Dear Data) and what we think of it and much more as well as listener feedback. 26/09/2014 Duration: 01h51min

WEEEEEEEEE”””’RRRRREEEEE Back… Welcome to season 2 of the Battle Bridge. We start off season 2 by having a baby. No we’re not having a baby, no our wives are not having a baby… Counselor Troi is having a baby. Not only was it not planned, Deanna didn’t even participate in the process. In fact, her empathic powers seem to be dormant when she is… When a betazoid sleeps, her ability to stop an unplanned pregnancy dips to below 2%. And that’s when it happened. A ball of light….well is Raped her an accurate description? That is brought up actually, but it didn’t get discussed until we were signing off… Today James and Lou discuss (The Child) and what we think of it and much more as well as listener feedback. • Conspiracy, TNG S1 E25 Review, The Battle Bridge

    22/08/2014 Duration: 01h31min

Don’t trust anyone, except us. Don’t take anything for granted, except us. Four people meet at planet hell, three are who they say they are, one isn’t. Do you know which? Something is happening to the very fabric of what the Federation has built up and it’s up to the Enterprise to figure it out. There’s no need for a B story plot when the A story is short for Amped. 15/08/2014 Duration: 01h25min

Why? What did I do to drive him away? Perhaps you were whiny. Maybe you didn’t please him in the sack, although I can’t see that being possible… Maybe hes gay…Maybe… enough of this self indulgence…EXIT!!! What could happen when you send out a distress call and request that “ALL SHIPS” please respond? It didn’t happen, but Lou ponders what if it did. James scoffed at that by the way as rubbish. We are joined by Paul Finch, Star Trek Podcaster, but not director as we’ve indicated in a few episodes. Today Paul, James and Lou discuss We’ll Always Have Paris and what we think of it and much more as well as listener feedback.
