Romans 13:1 - "For there is no power, but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God." 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us that "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." He is able to give us power because he is the one who possesses the power. As we continue to read the thirteen chapter of Romans we see that it is of God's will for us to receive his power, but if we resist it, trouble is on the way.  In verse 7 we learn that it is appropriate to give people the respect and honour they have earned. God wants us who are chosen to higher places to receive the same reverence.  Finally, owe no man anything but to love one another (verse 8). Romans 12:16 says, "Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits." Romans 12:19 - 21: "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good." As we continue to study the book of Romans, we want to focus on our mindset. Being grateful for the blessings God has bestowed upon us while yet remaining humble. Practicing forgiveness, and not holding grudges seeking to revenge or retaliation. Moreover, waiting for someone's downfall because they treated us poorly. Doing what's right, even when wrong is done to us.  Butterfly Evolution is all about transformation. What can you change today that will produce better results for your life tomorrow?
