During the hearing members of Congress cited pro-Palestinian protests where students used antisemitic rhetoric, vandalism on Hillel buildings, and threatening emails to Jewish faculty. Why has antisemitism blossomed at these elite schools?

It is that time of year now that the calendar has turned to December. Have you found any bargains on the internet? We see the TV advertisements, but are the items as good as they appear on the big screen? Callers gave Dan some of their favorite gift ideas.

The U.S. Army, facing recruiting shortfalls, is now inviting military personnel, discharged for refusing COVID shots, to rejoin the military. This “about-face” by Army brass could result in nearly two thousand men and women resuming their service in uniform.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested a fugitive from Brazil, who entered the U.S. following his conviction for child rape earlier this year. The 62 year-old came to the U.S. last April under a tourist immigration visa but is expected to be returned to Brazil following a hearing before a federal immigration judge. The Field Office Director of Boston's US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Todd Lyons checked in with Dan Rea to discuss.

A delegation of young men and women from several Middle Eastern nations are in Boston, as part of a speaking tour entitled “Building Peace in Times of War”. The discussion continued.

Some Boston City Council members are, at least considering a “guaranteed income” for all in the City of Boston, especially those living at or below the poverty level. Councilor Lara explained her thoughts behind the idea and how the concept might become a reality.

The Federal Trade Commission has launched an antitrust investigation into the sale of sandwich company Subway. The probe aims to determine whether the Subway merger with the private equity firm Roark Capital, who also owns Jimmy John’s, poses competition concerns. Patrick Hedger, the Executive Director of the Taxpayers Protection Alliance joined Dan to discuss.
