Nick and Lars get in touch with their inner pop star with the help of writer and co-host of the Low Times podcast, Maggie Serota, to watch an episode of the classic 80's cartoon Jem and the Holograms.  It's a stylish look at the glamorous life of orphanage manager / international pop sensation Jerica/Jem and her efforts to stay on top of the music world while fending off the evil machinations of a rival band, The Misfits.  In this episode, an imposter Jem acts like a real jerk in an effort to assassinate Jem's image.  WILL JEM SURVIVE?  The answer will astonish you!  (the answer is yes)

Nick and Lars plop, fetus-like, out of an embryonic robo-gourd with David Chernicoff.  Together, they will grow armor plating, sprout a vegetable gun-dinosaur arm, and battle head-to-head with an episode of Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, an 80’s action cartoon about incredible space cars and their awe-inspiring fights. In this episode, Jayce and the rest of the Lightning League go to the moon to oversee a ceremony in which all of the wizards of the universe obliterate a second moon in order to spread the power of goodness throughout the galaxies - but not if Saw Boss and his duo of laser-firing hypno-bees have anything to say about it. Does it make any sense? Not really!

Nick and Lars slow down for a moment with writer and actor Melissa Jane Osborne to bask in Adventures of the Little Koala, a laid back mid-80's cartoon from Japan about a family of pampered marsupials.  In these episodes, Roo Bear (the koala) wants to sell some oranges, and Kiwi (the kiwi) wants to take a photograph.  You'll pay for the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge.

Nick and Lars hit the road in search of adventure with actor and comedian Griffin Newman to watch an episode of The Littlest Hobo, a Canadian kids' show about a dog who roams the countryside, helping normal people with their relatable, everyday problems. In this episode, the littlest hobo helps a group of young live-action roleplayers not get repeatedly attacked by exotic reptiles.
