The Antagonist   Romans 8:31-35   The World.  The Christmas story is set with huge and powerful characters fighting to oppose God's work.  These antagonists fight without mercy to stay His hand, but whither and fade as God's love wins the day.    

The Protagonist   Romans 5:9-10   God.  People often think that the world is divided into categories of good and bad people.  Those fighting for the good cause are the protagonists, those for evil are the bad.  But the Christmas story only has one protagonist, God is going to begin something that evil cannot stop.  Even the evil in us.    

The Baptism of Possibilities   1 Corinthians 12:7-11   When the supernatural becomes natural; when God's miraculous work is normal in our lives.  That's what the baptism of the Holy Spirit is meant to bring.    

Conversations - Dr Allan Meyer   We are so blessed to have Dr. Meyer, an Australian expert on men's health and spirituality come and share with the whole church.    

Eager Helper   1 Corinthians 12:7-11   The Bible tells us to "eagerly desire spiritual gifts", but is that just so we can feel important or is it because the One with the gifts to give is even more eager than us to give them.    

Uncommon Good   All the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for the "common good".  It's the most helpfully clarifying guide to understand how and why the Holy Spirit wants us to participate in His spiritual gifts.

Stop Going to Woolworths - Matt King   Ephesians 4:24   How we see ourselves determines how we live.  How often do we question ourselves and our life choices?  Are we comfortable with who we see ourselves as being?  Does God's opinion of us matter?    

Communion   1 Corinthians 10:16   It is not so unusual that we can sometimes forget the importance of certain things in our lives.  Like the old saying goes, "familiarity breeds contempt".  One day something happens, something is said, and it opens our eyes once more to the treasure we have.    

An In-A-Body Experience   1 Corinthians 12:12-14   Connecting with others helps us to feel as though we belong.  The tricky bit is connecting with the right people.  We need to have good influences and mentors, but making that choice is not always easy.
