You might not like to hear this but I have had a deep dive into the historical bitcoin chart off the weekly time frames and I can see too many similarities from the 2017 bull and bear market to the 2021/22 bull and bear markets. From the duration of the move, the time from high to low and the distance it fell. I am not saying it will get there, I am breaking down history and putting it to today to give us all a bit more information. Bitcoin has been super slow yet again with a very small decline on the weekly close. Some interesting chart similarities between BTC today and back in 2018, even the dates are very close, this could lead cryptotraders to be very busy shorting in November. It's been a pretty decent week for cryptotraders that have the knowledge and experience to short the market with ADA, ALGO, MATIC, and LDO all offering up some very nice profits. The top-10 declines today with BTC down the least and XRP down the most. ETH, DOT, BNB, SOL, DOE, AVAX, and TRX are all in decline so far. We have coming up on the economic calendar the US inflation and FOMC minutes which in recent times has sent crypto into high volatility mode so be careful and aware. Some mild selling coming back into the crypto market at the moment and cryptotraders will be seeing trends on the 4-hour and lower starting to look pretty nice. Currently, XRP is the only market in our top-10 that is up with BTC, ETH, BNB, DOT, ADA, SOL, DOGE, AVAX and TRX down. The volatility has been sucked out of the market of late with very tight ranges. XRP is really the only chart where there has been movement, so it's best we go to the lower time frames. Today on my FTX crypto scan I focused my attention on the 30-minute time frames for trends and "Crypto Cradle" trades and it didn't disappoint. A number of options have already hit 1:1 in AAVE, ATOM, and ENS. XRP had a nice move from the cradle zone yesterday putting the biggest gains on in our top-10. BTC is still sideways, ETH has a very tight range as does DOT. BNB, AVAX, DOGE, TRX, and SOL are pretty slow still. ADA has a real shot at a bitcoin breakout short for cryptotraders if it continues to build into the support. The USD index is on a charge and sucking the life out of risk assets, bitcoin has held pretty strong compared to some other markets. The correlation traders will see is that when the USD fell yesterday, stocks, gold and bonds all had a strong day. This isn't something cryptotraders should ignore, more so learn from it.
