Another week and another fan wins our Instagram competition. As well as winning prizes if you win, we also let you pitch a topic for our Podcast. This week, our winner is Dive School Osmiornica hailing from Gdansk, Poland. We had the pleasure of ice diving with him last January, and if you're heading to northern Poland, check him out!For the topic, Dive School Osmiornica initially pitched the topic of "horrors that make you hide under your bed". As we had already done Horrors two weeks back, he settled for Psychological Thrillers, and boy what a list! So if you like movoes that seriously mess with your head, freak you out and leave you thinking long after the credits have rolled, then this list will blow you away!

In honour of one of our longest fans (dating way back to early YouTube days!) winning our Instagram contest, we are doing another fan selection episode, Our winner picked the awesome topic of "Movies the Critics got wrong" and we went to town. We have breezed through Rotten Tomatoes, filtered through Meta Critic and delved all the way back into some reviews that first came out way back when. I think you will be shocked at how bad some films have been reviewed over the years. Don't believe us? What if we told you Predator (yes, the original with Arnie), was only rated 36%!?!?! And that's just scratching the service! So sit back while the Silver Screen Dudes proceed to tear the critics a new one as we coubt down the TOP 10 Movies the Critics got wrong! So very Wrong!!

In honour of the brilliant but criminally under-watched "First Man", the latest outing fro Oscar winning director Damien Chazelle, the Silver Screen Dudes are counting down the TOP 10 Real Space Movies. By real, we mean no Star Wars, no Star Trek, no Guardians of the Galaxy and no Aliens (you get the idea). If fantasy or mega sci-fi is what you're looking for, this ain't for you. If you're after some biopics, true stories and movies grounded firmly in reality, then enjoy as we count down the TOP 10 Real Space Movies.

Ok, ok, we've got to put our hands an apologise, we know this episode is a a bit late... But better late than never as they say. In (belated) celebration of Halloween, the Silver Screen Dudes are counting down the TOP 10 Horror Movies - arguably one of the hardest lists we've had to do, simply because there is SO MUCH quality in the horror genre... In honour of the release of That Hate You Give, the Silver Screen Dudes are counting down the TOP 10 Movies about Racism. This list comprises some of the greatest movies of our time. Clearly when auteurs/directors deal with this subject matter, and when actors have a chance to perform with what are generally exceptional scripts, the results are stellar!

In honour of the release of Venom (which we both maintain the critics got horribly wrong, and it's actually a good, fun, comic book romp), the Silver Screen Dudes are counting down Tom Hardy's frankly intimidating body of work. From gangsters like Bronson and the Kray Twins, period pieces like Lawless, (other) comic book movies like Bane, to sweeping epics like The Revenant, Tom Hardy has got a body of work that is the envy of most of hollywood.Sit back, relax and enjoy, as the Silver Screen Dudes count down the TOP 10 Tom Hardy Movies.

It's worth noting that due to the sheer expanse of Disney movies, we decided to work within some parameters. We are not allowed to include any Pixar movies as not only is that entitled to it's own list, but it's technically a different Studio but owned by Disney. Also, the "modern" Disney films have been taken off the shelf. So that means no Zootropolis, Wreck it Ralph, Frozen or Moana. This is very much a list focusing on classic Disney animations from the 30's through to the 90's, and we are here to celebrate them!

In honour of the release of the Equalizer 2, starring arguable one of the greatest actors working today, Denzel Washington, the Silver Screen Dudes are counting down the TOP 10... Denzel Washington Movies.From Oscar nominated performances like Malcolm X and Flight, to visceral and violent flicks like Man on Fire and Training Day, remakes like The Magnificent 7, and even slick heist movies like Inside Man, one thing is for sure: Denzel doesn't work for vouchers! His body of work is frankly intimidating and we imagine the envy of many of his peers.So enjoy, as we countdown the TOP 10 Best Denzel Washington Movies.

In honour of the release of Christopher Robin, adapted from the classic A.A.Milne books, Winnie the Pooh, the Silver Screen Dudes are counting down the TOP 10 movies adapted from children's books. From fantasy epics like The Hobbit and Harry Potter, to timeless classics like Mary Poppins and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, to books you (maybe?) didn't know where adaptations like How to Train Your Dragon and Jumanji, and not forgetting the amazing Disney adaptations like Pinocchio and the Jungle Book. In honour of the release of The Meg (which co-host Nico Lurot is predicting is gonna be "awesomely terrible because it's Jason Statham punching a Shark"), the Silver Screen Dudes are counting down the TOP 10 Ocean Movies. From timeless classics like The Bounty and the Seahawk, to animation spectaculars like Little Mermaid and Moana, to Monster Epics like Jaws and In the Heart of the Sea, not to mention some foreign language films like Das Boot, and not forgetting documentaries like Black Fish, the Cove and Shark Water (we could go on and on here). Put simply, if you can think of an Ocean Movie, we've got it covered on this list!

In honour of the release of the Incredibles 2, the Silver Screen Dudes are counting the TOP 10 Animated Sequels. Now this list was trickier than expected as we didn't wish to go all out Disney, and where possible, we tried to mix things up a bit. Even while working within the powerhouse that is Disney, we thought it important to mention some lesser known titles such as the Rescuers Down Under, the Lion King 2: Simba's Pride and even an Extremely Goofy Movie (which has no business being as good as it is). But let's not forget the seminal work from Pixar (technically still Disney productions, but different studio), Dreamworks, Illumination and more.Usually nothing can top the original when it comes to Anime, but we've unearthed some real under-loved, overlooked and sometimes forgotten gems, that we feel are worth your attention!

The movies in this push the artistic envelope to places most would not be comfortable to venture, but they are still works of art nonetheless, and we are here to celebrate them!One could argue that this is somewhat of an overlooked art as we rarely see wide-releases for gory movies anymore. So bring a strong stomach and even stronger will as we count down the TOP 10 Goriest moves!

In honour of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which has reminded the entire world just why football (that's "soccer" to our friends states-side) is called the beautiful game, by capturing the imagination of millions and turning doubters into believers, the Silver Screen Dudes thought it appropriate to count down the TOP 10 Sports Movies.From boxing and mixed martial art epics like Rocky and Warrior to behind-the-scenes flicks like Jerry Maguire, to stories fuelled with Racial stereotyping like Cool Running s and Invictus, if you like sports (hell, even if you don't), this is the be-all to end-all Sports list, not just for sports fans, but for all movie fans!!!

In honour of the release of Ocean's 8, starring the new all female cast with the likes of Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Anne Hathaway, the Silver Screen Dudes are counting down the TOP 10 heist movies. From the silver age classics like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, to modern age crime capers like Michael Mann's Heat or Spike Lee's Inside Man, and not forget the bat-shit crazy like Fast and Furious 5, this list has got it all!Wanna make a suggestion for the podcast? In honour of the release of Rampage and the imminent release of jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the Silver Screen Dudes are counting down the TOP 10 Sc-Fi Monsters. From the dino-like monsters like Godzilla, the T-Rex and the Indominus Rex, to the Alien monsters like The Thing, Predator and (of course) the Xenomorphs, to the downright bizarre like the Kaiju and Tremors, Hollywood is certainly blessed with some phenomenal Sci-Fi monsters, but which will make the Rushmore?
