Talking with Dr_Boomhauer, friend of the show, for this month's episode of Mario's Minute! We talk about our background over how we know each other, as well as his Xbox hardware collecting tendencies. We also talk quite a bit about games this episode with the recent GoldenEye 007 announcements, the HUGE Grand Theft Auto VI leak, and Sony increasing the price of the PS5 across multiple territories.

Games, games, and games for this episode of Mario's Minute! Before I recorded this episode, I got annoyed with selling some games on eBay and figured... Why not bring it up on the podcast and air my annoyances about it here? I also finally got my Steam Deck and share my initial thoughts, feelings, and experiences with it all. A bunch of games were played on it recently, which I talked a bit about as I do every month. Finally I also share some stories from my days of working at a local video game shop.

Jason of GameRaveTV joins in to talk about a bit of everything old and new in this guest episode of Mario's Minute! We talk a whole lot about the original PlayStation, our experiences working at game shops, and shine a bit of light on the process of unearthing a hidden demo of DOOM back in 2020.

A whole lot of gaming goodness this month! Starting off shouting out and talking about ConsoleMods.org which is shaping up to be one of the best written resources for console modding documentation. Sony has started a Game Preservation Team which I discuss my thoughts on, and immediately follow that up with Sega delisting classic Sonic games to make way for Sonic Origins. KawlunDram from Soruce Gaming joins in for this month's episode of Mario's Minute! Over the course of a couple hours we talk about everything from chicken wings and hot sauce to rants in the world of tech and video games. A gaming, tech, and rant filled episode for this month's episode of Mario's Minute! After talking a bit about the history of Mario's Minute, I rant about the TV issue that's been slowly plaguing my eyes for almost three years. The recent announcement of the 3DS & Wii U eShops being discontinued is also discussed here. Game install sizes for ninth generation consoles are FINALLY significantly decreasing, and with games being discussed I figured I'd return with a game store story.

A new year, so let's start out with a first for Mario's Minute: The first return guest! FrameRater comes back onto Mario's Minute as we catch up with him after a couple of breaks and a ton of awesome life developments. We talk about an upcoming Serious Sam release, review consoles, taking much needed breaks, and the recent Activision Blizzard acquisition by Microsoft.

Final episode of the year! Here I talk a bit more about the excitement of the 9.00 jailbreak being released for PS4. I also ended up picking up a new Xbox, this one being the Series S, so I give my thoughts on using it so far. Some talk about Halo Infinite and finally blowing off some steam about preordering game consoles with the Analogue Pocket being discussed.

Two Xbox 360 modding extraordinaire guests in a row?! This time around we have Octal joining us, an important figurehead in the Xbox 360 modding scene who has pushed RGH related developments forward in massive ways the last few years. We talk about what got him into electronics repair, the recent Right to Repair legislation, RGH3, backwards compatibility on Xbox One/Series, and more!

Back again for a solo episode of Mario's Minute this spooky month! I rant a bit about a terrifying sight I saw at a game shop: scalped PS5 consoles in a forced bundle! Kingdom Hearts coming to Switch is discussed, but it isn't as nice as many would expect. Some travel plans from this past month are discussed, a bit of the Switch scene, and my thoughts on the upcoming Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy release.

Long time friend of the channel Element aka The Mod Shop drops in this month to chat it up a bit! We spend a TON of time talking about some fond history with Xbox 360 modding, which is of course to be expected between us two. We also talk about some of our favorite mods we've seen, some N64 mods, updates to Nintendo Switch Online with the Expansion Pack announcement, and some advice on starting to reverse engineer.

Going solo this month to talk about recent news of Halo Infinite shipping incomplete or, excuse me, spreading content across multiple seasons. I also discuss some annoyances with PS4 to PS5 cross platform play for multiplayer, some sticker shock of compatible SSD prices for the PS5, and we go back in time to discuss a few game shop stories! Stay tuned.

Long time listener, Discord server admin, and friend of the show TazTheTechWiz comes on for this episode of Mario's Minute to chop it up for a bit! We talk about my most painful spicy food experience from about a week prior, which I don't advise anyone to emulate. We also discuss some pre-order hardware with the Steam Deck and Switch (OLED Model) being announced. I also FINALLY got a PS5, all thanks to TazTheTechWiz, so I give my first impressions on that.

This time around on Mario's Minute we've got a bit of news sprinkled alongside the personal stories! First up being a recent wave of PS3 console bans which might be due to an alleged leak of PS3 Console IDs. I also discuss the news of the re3 GitHub repository coming back online, which includes reVC and the upcoming Liberty City Stories branch for Grand Theft Auto reverse engineering efforts. Some talk of eBay sales, some more of my dog Lily making a friend, and wrapping it all up by visiting my old game shops!

This episode of Mario's Minute features Blaine Locklair, a fellow YouTuber who primarily covers game emulation and console modifications! Blaine came on for a couple of hours for some awesome conversation involving game preservation, collecting, and comparing old vs. new game store shopping experiences. We also get some life conversation in the mix with public speaking, introvert recharging, and mid-life crisis decisions over a Sega CDX.

Back again, solo again, talking about cats and the same storefront yet again like this is the second part of last month's episode! This month I give a bit of a quarantine related update and continue discussing last month's cat and PS3/PSP/Vita digital storefront shutdowns. I also share my experience shopping at a GameStop for the first time in over a year, taking Lily to the vet, and a throwback game store story.

For this month of Mario's Minute we're just going over a few topics, but some big ones for this episode! The first being how I ended up forcing a phone upgrade early due to some negligence on my part. PS3/PSP/Vita storefronts are reportedly shutting down in July and August of this year, and although at the time of recording a straight up public statement has yet to be made, I took some time to give my thoughts over this issue in the past, present, and future of digital storefronts. Finally I also talk about a kitten rescue I've accidentally gotten myself into, and wrap everything up with a game store story.

This episode of Mario's Minute features @Kacey, fellow YouTuber who works on a variety of gaming topics with a bit of a focus on weird console ports. She took some time to hang out for a couple of hours and discuss XLink Kai, college experiences, cars, and the importance of work spaces.
