I love using TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) for teaching Russian for several reasons: 1) TPRS is an interactive and engaging teaching method that often involves storytelling and real-life situations, making the learning process more enjoyable for everyone. 2) It places a strong emphasis on developing communication skills. It helps students learn to communicate in Russian by using the language in context, which can be motivating and practical. 3) TPRS reduces language learning anxiety by providing a comfortable and supportive environment in which students can practice their Russian language skills without fear of making mistakes.
