In this episode we dish on everything from how we met the Ross Brothers at the Sundance Film Festival in 2020, the photo that prompted them to ask us to be in their film, bonding with and mentoring the teens in the film, and how they were able to make an optimistic movie in a very difficult time. The film is set in the '90s and follows Owen, an awkward teenager whose classmate introduces him to a mysterious late-night tv show, and his new obsession begins to cause cracks in his sense of reality. Jane describes their "egg crack moment", and how important it was to cast queer actors (led by the wonderful duo of Justice Smith and Brigette Lundy-Paine) that we normally don't see in teenage angst films.
