This is an inspiring discussion with ground breaking and fantastic musicians - Songhoy Blues, who met Gemma in Mali, West Africa a few years ago after they’d fled their hometown of Timbuktu due to an enforced music ban, making it unsafe for them to play music any longer. They have had a whirlwind journey ever since.. Touring the world and releasing records.
